Living in Hackensack

Hackensack is the Bergen County seat, with the courthouse, Hackensack University Medical Center and a Main Street that has added new apartment and condo buildings in the last few years. It has the biggest condo market in this group, which is why first-floor and elevator units here come up often, plus single-family colonials and capes in the neighborhoods north and west of downtown at prices below most of the Northern Valley.
